An eclectic collection of trivia, observation, cynicism, wit....
and the occasional rant.
Enjoy!

I'm Mark. Older than you imagine, pescetarian, husband, father, professional parent & pedant.

I post some original stuff and a bunch of other things that I like. If you own the rights to something you see here and you're not happy about me sharing it, let me know.
Ahem. I guess that’s being called out.
“Glitches” are a Land Rover owner’s way of rationalising what other motorists term breakdowns. They call it a Land Rover Discovery because once you buy into the fraternity, you discover something else that can go wrong almost every day. You also discover how much they really cost. The first bill this year was just short of £300. I don’t even want to think about what it cost last year. They leak - ours is no exception - and no matter how hard we try, the rain just keeps coming in. Things go wrong. You get them fixed. It’s an occupational hazard.
And then, the weather turns and you realise why you nurture this flawed relationship for the rest of the year.
The bizarre thing is that they’re like Marmite; you either love them or hate them. I bet you can’t guess which category I fall into ;-)
