Well, he’s back at dougsnewtumblelog and better than ever.
Dougie had some bad news just recently; for most it would be shattering, but Dougie’s taking it on the chin and grinning in the face of adversity.
He’s an awesome guy. I regard him as a friend, although I’ve never met him. We’ve shared highs and lows and had more than a few laughs together. He was a tower of strength when I hit a low spot last year. My low spot was nothing in comparison to his current situation. For me, there was a way back. Sadly, for Dougie that may not be the case.
Follow him here. Send him your love and help give him the strength he needs in this battle.
My dad (Dougstumblr) has recently been diagnosed with cancer, he asked for me to put up some photos so his tumblr friends are updated on how he is doing. Some of you follow me and he got rid of his tumblr cos of his illness, which he regrets. Therefore i have followed certain individuals from his old Tumblr. We are staying strong through this and will have a full diagnosis 2 days from now.
(EDIT) Please feel free to reblog this, the more notes the happier he will be I’m sure :)
P.S he is a bit of a note addict anyway :)
(EDIT2) I am making sure he will see all of your encouraging and heart-warming words when i go to the hospital to seem him.
Absolutely gutted to hear your news. Please tell Dougie we love him and miss him, and that tumblr’s just not quite the same without him around. We’re all thinking of him, even us old sassenachs down south.
